Monday Post - Week 9

Greetings from The Stuffed Animal Review, a publication dedicated to the analysis of stuffed creature design and their larger worlds.  You have stumbled upon what The Review refers to as its Sunday through Friday posts: random images of stuffed animals doing silly things.  Feel free to dig deeper into the purpose of this blog by clicking on the “Philosophy” page. Join us on Saturday for more substantive musings.

Monday Musings
Holiday Special: Good Prop-Bad Prop

The Review could be persuaded to tolerate the clothing props on this Plush Pal penguin.  He looks…well…cute; ready for the winter chill with his scarf and hat.  It helps that the underlying design is decently rendered.  The Review’s major objection to this little fellow: the poor-quality stitching on his beak.  The white threads are clearly visible, giving the appearance of tiny fangs.

This bear illustrates Christmas-prop insanity.  There is a fairly adorable, huggable bear inside that box.  Unfortunately, he is trapped and encased in a Christmas prison.
