Thursday Post - Week 12

Greetings from The Stuffed Animal Review, a publication dedicated to the analysis of stuffed creature design and their larger worlds.  You have stumbled upon what The Review refers to as its Sunday through Friday posts: random images of stuffed animals doing silly things.  Feel free to dig deeper into the purpose of this blog by clicking on the “Philosophy” page. Join us on Saturday for more substantive musings.

Thursday Thunderous
This week's Sunday through Friday posts extend Saturday's thoughts on stuffed creature disturbing details.

A cardinal rule of Stuffed Creature Disturbing Details: disembodied heads are bad.  Take this bear-baby blanket as an example.  The sweet bear without a body is jarring: he looks like a bear-ghost, come to haunt the material world as revenge for some hunting atrocity.  And the physical demands expected of this bear are also disturbing: absorption of an infant's secretions will make for one moist and stained creature.
